What’s foot scrub got to do with hormones and perimenopause? A lot! Hormone imbalance is a symptom of stress. Lots of us suffer from stress every day and don’t even realize it. What we do notice is the extra roll of fat around our middle, mood swings, anxiety and all the nasty symptoms that result from our added stress.
So, am I saying that a foot scrub is the cure? No, but it’ll help!
This is a recipe that I put together last year and gifted to teachers and friends. It’s super easy to make and use. Just rub and massage into the feet to get the benefits of touch and aroma to relax your body and mind.
1 cup Epsom salt
1 tea bag (Lavender Tea or a calming tea blend)
2 Tbsp Carrier Oil (I use Young Living V6)
3 drops Young Living Lavender Essential Oil
2 drops Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil
Cut open tea bag and mix all ingredients in a bowl. I mix and store in a mason jar.
